Stage
This is the information gathering stage. We discuss with the client everything they do and do not want in their home. If a building site is already owned, we visit the site to better understand its views, topography and solar orientation, as well as to find the best location for the home. If a client has not decided on a site yet, we often help with its selection.
Stage
Once the information from Programming has been thoroughly discussed and understood, we come back to the client with schematic drawings of the floor plans and some exterior elevations. This design reflects the goals the client has discussed, and we view it as a continuation of that dialogue. We always recommend that clients put the design on the wall and “throw darts at it”. This is a great time to pick it apart and find everything that a client does and does not like about that design.
Stage
Once we have an approved schematic design, we can then begin the working drawings. We lay out the floor plans and elevations at a larger scale than the schematics, which gives the homeowner the chance to review and finalize the general layouts prior to the more detailed drawings.
Stage
These consist of all the drawings we provide to enable a contractor to build a client’s home. It has been proven time and again, that the more information the builder has to begin with, the easier (and less stressful) the construction process is. Also, the initial cost is more accurate, as well as the construction timetable.

We provide this service to help assure that the home is being built according to the design. We are on call to both the client and builder at all times to help answer any questions or concerns. Whether it is a local project or one out of town, we work to provide the best services we can during construction.
